ANDREAE CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 5:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: KALANDER, J. ESTERHOLM, NUSSBERGER, H. ESTERHOLM, ANDREAE, AND ASSESSOR MARK HAFFERHOFF.
MOTION BY ANDREAE, SECOND BY J. ESTERHOLM TO NOMINATE TRUSTEE NUSSBERGER AS CHAIR OF THE MEETING. CARRIED
MOTION BY H. ESTERHOLM, SECOND BY NUSSBERGER TO NOMINATE J. ESTERHOLM AS VICE CHAIR OF THE MEETING. CARRIED
ASSESSOR, MARK HAFFERHOFF WAS SWORN IN BY TRUSTEE NUSSBERGER.
MARK WENT OVER THE VILLAGE’S TAX ROLL TOTALS.
MARK STATED THERE WAS ONE FORMAL OBJECTION FILED FOR REAL ESTATE PROPERTY ASSESSMENT. THE PROPERTY CONTESTED IS LOCATED AT 515 AIRPARK DRIVE.
PROPERTY OWNER, TIM DEBOTH WAS PRESENT AND WAS SWORN IN BY TRUSTEE NUSSBERGER.
TIM PRESENTED HIS TESTIMONY AS WHY HE FELT HIS ASSESSMENT SHOULD BE LOWERED. TIM DID NOT PRESENT ANY OTHER APPRAISALS. TIM STATED THE PROPERTY IS LIMITED TO EXPANSION DUE TO THE WETLANDS.
MARK PRESENTED HIS TESTIMONY AS WHY HE FELT HIS ASSESSMENT IS CORRECT AND HANDED OUT COMPARABLE PROPERTIES.
MOTION BY NUSSBERGER, SECOND BY J. ESTERHOLM TO CLOSE THE TESTIMONY AND LEAVE THE ASSESSMENT AT $144,400. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY ROLL CALL VOTE
THERE WERE NO OTHER FORMAL OBJECTIONS.
MOTION BY NUSSBERGER, SECOND BY KALANDER TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 7:30 P.M. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY ROLL CALL VOTE.
