MEMBERS PRESENT: ANDERSON, JILKA, DRAEGER, NUSSBERGER, KNAACK, AND SWENSON

MOTION BY SWENSON, SECOND BY KNAACK TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 09, 2015, MEETING AS SUBMITTED. CARRIED

MOTION BY NUSSBERGER, SECOND BY DRAEGER TO APPROVE THE TREASURER’S REPORT AS PRESENTED. CARRIED

THERE WERE NO COMMITTEE REPORTS.

THE BOARD WAS PRESENTED WITH AN OFFER OF $750 FROM THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH FOR THE LOT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THEIR PARSONAGE PROPERTY. THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF WASHINGTON STREET WOULD NEED TO BE ABANDONED BEFORE IT CAN BE SOLD.

MOTION BY DRAEGER, SECOND BY ANDERSON TO START THE PROCEDURE TO ABANDON THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF WASHINGTON STREET. CARRIED

MOTION BY DRAEGER, SECOND BY ANDERSON TO ACCEPT THE OFFER OF $750 FROM THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH FOR THE LOT SOUTH OF THEIR PARSONAGE ON TOWN STREET. CARRIED

MOTION BY NUSSBERGER, SECOND BY KNAACK TO SET THE CAUCUS DATE FOR JANUARY 11, 2016, AT 6:00 P.M. CARRIED

MOTION BY KNAACK, SECOND BY SWENSON TO TABLE THE WEATHER SIREN UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING. CARRIED

MOTION BY ANDERSON, SECOND BY JILKA TO TABLE THE FURNANCE FOR THE RENTAL BUILDING IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING. CARRIED

FIRE CHIEF, BRAD SWENSON REPORTED THEY HAD ELECTIONS AND DALE ANDREAE WILL BE THE FIRE CHIEF AT THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.

DALE REPORTED KEN SHEER, TOOK OVER BILL DOBBINS POSITION WITH THE DNR. HE WILL BE DOING OUR WATER PERMIT AND HE STRONGLY RECOMMENDS WE CONTINUE TO CHLORINATE.

ALSO, HE WOULD LIKE PERMISSION TO TALK WITH DON ANDERSON ABOUT HAVING THE SCHOOL KIDS POSSIBLY REMODEL THE OLD PEMPER PROPERTY ON KNOX STREET OR ABOUT BUILDING A NEW HOUSE.

MOTION BY SWENSON, SECOND BY KNAACK TO APPROVE THE EXPENDITURES. CARRIED
